No Koven

Since 2015, Mareklop has been working with Koveken. Koveken, also known as Kovekenskermis, is an annual tradition in the Heirbrug district in Lokeren. Every fourth Sunday of September, an impressive procession of more than 50 giants passes through the district, offering a spectacle for the public. The entire last weekend of September is packed with activities, including a quiz, barbecue, flea market and local trade market. Ne Koven is a dark blond beer with a sweet, slightly bitter taste and an alcohol percentage of 7.5%, making it a solid drinker.
